William R. Hitzemann Obituary, Death – A man from Weldon Spring, identified as 45-year-old William R. Hitzemann, tragically drowned while attempting to swim to shore at Golden Eagle Lake in Montgomery County on Saturday. The incident occurred around 5 p.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Hitzemann had been swimming from a boat when he started experiencing distress and was unable to reach the shore.
