Timothy I. Montague, Lori Lynn Botero Obituary, Death – State police have identified the two individuals who lost their lives in a tragic collision and subsequent car fire on Interstate 95 on Friday. The victims have been confirmed as 36-year-old Timothy I. Montague and 34-year-old Lori Lynn Botero, both residents of New London.
Montague, who was driving the vehicle, was involved in the fatal accident. The incident occurred on September 13 around 9:20 p.m. while the couple was attempting to exit at Exit 87.
According to police reports, the vehicle involved was a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500. As the truck attempted to navigate the exit ramp, it veered off to the left, crashing into a guardrail and then a tree. The impact caused the vehicle to catch fire, resulting in a devastating blaze.
Both Montague and Botero were pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and authorities are working to determine the exact circumstances that led to the accident.
