Tavares Deone Moore Obituary, Death – A 44-year-old man from Bessemer, who was fatally shot on Thursday night, has been identified as Tavares Deone Moore. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Moore was shot on the 2900 block of 9th Avenue North at approximately 8:56 p.m. He was quickly transported to UAB Hospital but was pronounced dead at 9:40 p.m.
The Bessemer Police Department reported that Moore managed to give a brief statement to officers before his transportation to the hospital. It has been determined that Moore was acquainted with the unidentified suspect involved in the shooting.
