Tassie Sherman Obituary, Death – On Tuesday, a tragic three-vehicle collision in Clermont County resulted in the death of a woman, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSP) officials. The accident occurred around 2 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 32 and Herold Road. The victim, 51-year-old Tassie Sherman, was involved in the crash while riding in a 2014 Chevrolet Sonic driven by 26-year-old Robert Sherman. According to troopers, Robert Sherman’s vehicle was stopped southbound on Herold Road at the State Route 32 intersection.
As he attempted to cross the intersection, his car was struck by a 2020 Lincoln Navigator driven by 71-year-old Jenny Stahl, who was traveling eastbound on State Route 32. The collision caused the Chevrolet Sonic to hit a 2019 Infiniti QX60, driven by 58-year-old Miles Harrigan, which was also stopped on Herold Road.
The impact propelled the Lincoln Navigator off the road and down an embankment, where it eventually came to a stop, troopers reported.
At the scene, Robert Sherman was treated for minor injuries. Unfortunately, Tassie Sherman, who was a passenger in the Chevrolet, was pronounced dead upon arrival at Clermont Mercy Hospital. Another passenger in the Chevrolet, 71-year-old Denise Harris, suffered serious injuries and was transported to the University of Cincinnati Hospital for treatment.
Jenny Stahl and her 18-year-old passenger, Peyton Stahl, sustained minor injuries and were also taken to the University of Cincinnati Hospital. Miles Harrigan and his passenger, 58-year-old Donna Couture, were transported to Bethesda North Hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and authorities have not yet determined if alcohol or drugs were a contributing factor.
