Sybyl Forrester Obituary, Death – A tragic accident earlier this week resulted in the death of a Monroe County woman. Sybyl Forrester, a 73-year-old resident of Amory, passed away on Thursday evening, September 19.
According to Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley, the incident occurred on September 18 on Highway 125 in Becker. Forrester was riding as a passenger in a pickup truck that was involved in a collision with another vehicle near the Dollar General store.
Following the crash, Forrester was transported to a hospital in Tupelo, where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
