Shahar Goldman, Inbar Segev-Vigder, Death News – Seven people were killed and 16 others wounded in a shooting attack in Jaffa, central Israel, on Tuesday. According to emergency services, the victims included a 17-year-old girl and two others identified as 30-year-old Shahar Goldman from Lod and 33-year-old Inbar Segev-Vigder from Tel Aviv. Among the wounded, six were in serious condition, four moderately injured, and two lightly wounded.
Shahar Goldman, a dancer, is survived by her husband Tai, her parents, and three sisters. Friends and colleagues remembered her fondly, paying tribute to her at the Havana Music Club in Tel Aviv. Those who knew her described her as having “a captivating smile and great energy” and noted how she positively impacted many lives.
Inbar Segev-Vigder, a fitness professional who owned a Pilates studio and coached at a CrossFit gym in Tel Aviv, was also killed in the attack. A graduate of the Wingate Institute for Physical Education and Sports, she leaves behind her husband Ya’ari and their nine-month-old son. Ya’ari recounted the terrifying moment Segev-Vigder was carrying their son during the attack. In a statement to the national broadcaster Kan, he expressed his gratitude that their son miraculously survived without a scratch, although he was covered in blood.

The attack occurred near a light rail station on Jerusalem Boulevard in Jaffa. According to police, the assailants were armed with a rifle and a knife and targeted both passengers and passers-by. The two attackers were later identified as Muhammad Khalef Saher Rajab and Hassan Muhammad Hassan Tamimi, both in their 20s and from Hebron in the West Bank. They did not have permits to be in Israel. One of the attackers was shot dead by a passerby and a municipal security guard.
Tel Aviv district commander Haim Sargrof confirmed that police ruled out the possibility of additional attackers after conducting extensive searches in the area, aided by large police and IDF forces. Security camera footage revealed that the attackers had emerged from a nearby mosque, killing two people on Jerusalem Boulevard before boarding a light rail car and killing four passengers. The attackers were eventually shot in the street.

Following the attack, police and IDF forces launched a raid on the mosque where the attackers were seen emerging from, detaining several individuals suspected of involvement in the attack. As the investigation continues, authorities are working to uncover further details about the incident and any additional ties the attackers may have had to other groups or individuals.
