Sean Fader Obituary, Death – On Friday night, a tragic accident claimed the life of a 17-year-old boy from Oswego. The incident occurred on Minkler Road, as reported by the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. The victim, identified as Sean Fader, was a student at Oswego High School.

The fatal crash took place around 8:51 p.m. According to authorities, Fader was driving southbound on Minkler Road when he lost control of the vehicle. The car veered off the road, struck a tree, and subsequently caught fire. Fader was alone in the car at the time of the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the crash, working in conjunction with the Kendall County Coroner’s Office to determine the cause and circumstances of the accident. The Oswego Police Department and the Bristol Kendall Fire Protection District were also involved in responding to the scene.

As the community and Oswego High School mourn the loss of Fader, school officials have requested that people refrain from gathering at the crash site to ensure safety. To support the grieving process, the school has opened its community room from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday for students and community members to come together and remember Fader. Additional opportunities for gathering and commemorating Fader’s life will be arranged in the coming days.
