Salvador Ernesto Torres Obituary, Death – The Prince William County Police Department (PWPD) has identified the man who tragically died after being struck by a vehicle in Woodbridge on November 3. Authorities responded to the scene at the intersection of Prince William Parkway and Lynn Street around 1:20 a.m. after receiving reports of an unconscious man lying in the road.
The investigation revealed that the victim, 51-year-old Salvador Ernesto Torres, a Woodbridge resident, had been walking along Prince William Parkway when he was hit by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle did not stop and continued to drive away, leaving Torres behind.
A passing motorist noticed the man lying on the roadway and immediately called emergency services while attempting to assist him. Torres was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police are urging anyone with information about the crash to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
