Salomon Aranda Obituary, Death – The Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) reported the tragic death of a 71-year-old man following a family altercation on Monday. The incident occurred at 2985 Highway 260 in the Manning area of Clarendon County.

Deputies arrived at the scene to find 71-year-old Salomon Aranda with a gunshot wound to his upper torso. Clarendon County Coroner Jacqueline Blackwell later confirmed Aranda’s identity and his death.

According to the CCSO, the altercation occurred between Aranda and 23-year-old Raven Todd, a family member. During the confrontation, Aranda allegedly struck Todd in the head with an object, causing injuries. Deputies said Todd then fired a gun after Aranda continued to assault him.

As of now, no charges have been filed, but the investigation into the incident is ongoing. Authorities are working to gather more information to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
