Romy Bogier Obituary, Death – Baltimore County police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred on Monday afternoon in Parkville. The incident took place around 4:20 p.m. in the 8400 block of Leefield Road, near the intersections of Putty Hill Avenue and Perring Parkway, behind the White Oak School.
Local resident Maxwell Xine reported hearing multiple gunshots and expressed surprise at not noticing any commotion or seeing any cars outside. “I heard ‘bang, bang, bang, bang, bang,’” Xine said, describing how he and his mother reacted to the sound.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body. The victim, identified as 43-year-old Romy Bogier, was transported to a hospital but did not survive. His family confirmed that Bogier was a widower with three children and a grandfather, originally from Baltimore.
In addition to Bogier, his 21-year-old son was also shot and is currently in critical condition, having sustained a skull fracture from a bullet.
