Ricardo Martinez Olguin Obituary, Death – The Fresno Police Department has identified the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday in southeast Fresno as 40-year-old Ricardo Martinez Olguin. According to police reports, the incident took place shortly after 4 a.m. in the 4400 block of East Floradora, following a ShotSpotter alert that indicated gunfire in the area.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Olguin lying next to his bicycle in the roadway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. Though critically injured, Olguin was conscious when officers arrived and informed them that an unknown person riding a bicycle had shot him.
Olguin was quickly transported to Community Regional Medical Center for emergency treatment, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
