Parker James Eugene Billman Obituary, Death -The Allen County Coroner’s Office has officially confirmed the identity of the individual who lost his life in a shooting incident on Tuesday evening as an 18-year-old resident of Fort Wayne. According to the Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD), they received reports of a shooting at approximately 10 p.m. on Tuesday, occurring in the vicinity of E Lewis and Hanna Streets.

Upon their arrival, officers discovered a man with multiple gunshot wounds at the Cap n’ Cork establishment located on E Lewis Street. He was subsequently transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

On Thursday, the Allen County Coroner’s Office announced that the man succumbed to his injuries while at the hospital.

He has been identified as Parker James Eugene Billman, an 18-year-old from Fort Wayne. The coroner has classified his death as a homicide, which marks the 29th homicide recorded in Allen County this year.

The investigation into the shooting is currently ongoing.
