Nolan Greathouse Obituary, Death – The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office has identified a man who was shot and killed early Saturday morning in New Orleans’ 7th Ward as 39-year-old Nolan Greathouse. His death was confirmed by the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), who responded to the scene of the shooting at 1 a.m. on the 1600 block of Touro Street. Greathouse was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The fatal shooting marked the end of an 18-day period without homicides in New Orleans, which was the city’s longest streak without a murder since 2015.
