Noe Chavez Obituary, Death – The Franklin County Coroner’s Office has identified the cyclist who was killed in a hit-and-run incident early Monday morning in Mifflin Township. The victim has been named as 46-year-old Noe Chavez.

Chavez was pronounced dead at 1:20 a.m. Monday at the OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital emergency department, according to a statement released by the coroner’s office on Thursday.

The accident occurred around 12:46 a.m. when Chavez was riding his bicycle on Innis Road and was crossing Westerville Road/Route 3. He was hit by an unidentified vehicle traveling southbound on Westerville Road.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident but has yet to make any arrests. They believe the vehicle involved may be a white Chevrolet Suburban SUV that sustained some front-end damage in the collision.
