Noah L. Yoder Obituary, Death – A crash on I-69 resulted in the death of an Ohio man on Thursday. The Indiana State Police reported that their troopers responded to an accident involving injuries around 2 p.m. near the 270-mile marker on I-69.
The incident involved a 2020 VOLVO semi-truck that was traveling northbound on I-69 and a 2021 Ford Explorer. According to police, the semi rear-ended the Explorer “for an undetermined reason,” which led to the fatality of the Explorer’s driver. The victim has been identified as 81-year-old Noah L. Yoder from Hicksville, Ohio.
Authorities stated that despite life-saving measures attempted on Yoder, they were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Grant County Coroner’s Office. The driver of the semi did not suffer any injuries.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing. The Indiana State Police indicated that they do not believe alcohol or narcotics played a role in the incident.
