Nico Oliva Obituary, Death – A motorcyclist died after losing control of his bike, falling into traffic, and being hit by a vehicle. The incident occurred just after 9:45 p.m. on Monday. Logan Police Department officers responded to a traffic accident report at 1115 South Main Street involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.
The motorcyclist, traveling southbound, lost control of the bike and ended up in a travel lane. He was subsequently struck by a vehicle traveling in the same direction, according to Logan police.
Despite efforts by medical personnel to save him, the motorcyclist, identified as 36-year-old Nico Oliva from Hyrum, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police confirmed that Oliva was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The Logan Police Department is currently investigating the crash.
