Monica Mosley Obituary, Death – A tragic home invasion in Bridgeton, New Jersey, resulted in the fatal shooting of a local law enforcement officer late Tuesday night. Police responded to a report of multiple individuals forcefully kicking in the front door of a home on the 600 block of Buckshutem Road.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered the body of 51-year-old Monica Mosley, a sergeant detective with the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office. Mosley had been shot and killed during the incident.
The investigation quickly led local and state police to a suspect receiving treatment for a gunshot wound at a hospital in Camden. The suspect was taken in for questioning, but authorities have not yet made any arrests or filed charges in connection with the case.
