Monet Newton, Chase Cooper Obituary, Death – Authorities have identified the two individuals involved in a tragic murder-suicide incident at a Glendale apartment, revealing that the female victim was on the brink of graduating. Glendale police reported that the victims were Monet Newton, 24, and Chase Cooper, 22.
The incident occurred on Tuesday around 12:15 p.m. when police were called to an apartment complex located at the intersection of 79th Avenue and Union Hills Road, just north of the Arrowhead Towne Center. Upon entering the apartment, officers discovered the bodies of Newton and Cooper. Investigators believe that Cooper shot Newton before taking his own life.
