Mitchell Jackson Jr Obituary, Death – A man who was found shot to death in Louisville’s Russell neighborhood on Sunday morning has been identified as 34-year-old Mitchell Jackson Jr. The Jefferson County coroner’s office confirmed that Jackson died from multiple gunshot wounds at the intersection of South 18th Street and Muhammad Ali Boulevard on October 20.

According to a statement from Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) spokesperson Dwight Mitchell, officers were dispatched to the area just before 9 a.m. on Sunday after receiving reports of a person lying unresponsive in the roadway. When they arrived, they discovered Jackson’s body.

Notably, police reported that duct tape was found on Jackson’s body, a detail that adds a disturbing element to the case. The circumstances surrounding the presence of the tape have not yet been clarified, but it has raised concerns about the possibility of foul play or a particularly violent crime.
