Megan Oldenburg Obituary, Death – A tragic car accident in Monroe County claimed the life of a woman on Thursday. Pennsylvania State Police from Fern Ridge responded to a crash with injuries at the intersection of Barry’s Road and Bluegrass Lane in Chestnuthill Township shortly after 4 p.m.
When troopers arrived, they found 39-year-old Megan Oldenburg from Hamilton Township deceased at the scene. The Monroe County coroner reported that she died from blunt force trauma and classified the death as accidental.
The investigation revealed that Oldenburg’s vehicle passed through the intersection, went down an embankment, hit a tree, and then overturned. However, it’s unclear what caused the vehicle to leave the road, and Pennsylvania State Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
