Craig Mayer, who brought a group from Calvary Christian Church, noted the profound impact of the loss. His group gathered to worship and grieve the young life lost, emphasizing the deep sadness of Letcher’s death as she was just beginning her journey in life.

The community’s collective effort is hoped to bring solace and light to those affected by the incident. Mayer expressed appreciation for the swift and supportive response from the community, highlighting the strength found in coming together during such difficult times.

As authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash, the school has placed the bus driver on paid administrative leave until the inquiry is complete. To assist with funeral expenses for Letcher, a GoFundMe campaign has been set up.
