Marco Antonio Caballero Flores Obituary, Death – The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who died in a head-on collision on Highway 58 early Saturday morning. The victim has been named as 39-year-old Marco Antonio Caballero Flores from Bakersfield.
The incident occurred on September 14, 2024, at approximately 2 a.m. Flores was driving a vehicle that collided head-on with another vehicle on Highway 58, east of Edison Road. Emergency responders pronounced Flores dead at the scene.
An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause and manner of death.
