Lucas Alleman Obituary, Death – The Ada County Coroner’s Office has identified the armed suspect killed in an officer-involved shooting on Tuesday night as 43-year-old Lucas Alleman from Star. The incident occurred when two deputies from the Ada County Sheriff’s Office were searching for a suspect linked to a felony sex crimes case.

At approximately 5:45 p.m., the deputies located Alleman at the Optimist Youth Sports Complex in Boise. According to the sheriff’s office, Alleman was armed with a handgun and did not comply with commands given by the deputies. As a result, the two deputies opened fire on Alleman.

Following the shooting, deputies attempted to administer life-saving measures, but Alleman was pronounced dead at the scene. The Coroner’s Office was dispatched to the location at around 6:31 p.m. Upon examination, the coroner determined that Alleman’s cause of death was gunshot wounds to the neck and torso. The manner of death is currently classified as pending, awaiting further investigation.

The Critical Incident Task Force is overseeing the investigation into the shooting to determine the specifics surrounding the event.
