Logan White Obituary, Death – The Omaha Police Department’s Traffic Unit is investigating a fatal crash involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle that occurred Friday morning around 11 a.m. at the intersection of Millard Avenue and Q Street.
According to crash investigators, 72-year-old Samuel Courts was driving a 2015 Chevrolet pickup truck and making a turn from northbound Millard Avenue onto westbound Q Street when a 2022 Kawasaki motorcycle, driven by 21-year-old Logan White, collided with the side of the truck.
White, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was transported to CHI Bergan Mercy hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Courts was unharmed in the accident.
The crash is still under investigation, and authorities noted that this marks the 43rd fatal crash of 2024 handled by the Omaha Police Department.
