Lawrence Orso Obituary, Death – A man was discovered dead in a parking lot in French Valley roughly 90 minutes after being released from custody following a DUI arrest. On Saturday morning, at 9:53 a.m., deputies from the Southwest Sheriff’s Station responded to reports of an unresponsive individual in the 30000 block of Auld Road. The man was later identified as 46-year-old Lawrence Orso from Murrieta, according to a statement from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Upon their arrival, deputies and paramedics attempted to revive Orso but were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Records indicated that Orso had been arrested the previous night for suspected drunk driving. A subsequent investigation revealed that he was released from the Cois Byrd Detention Center at 8:26 a.m., just an hour and a half prior to the discovery of his body.

The investigation conducted by the authorities found “no evidence” of foul play. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, and authorities are urging anyone with further information to reach out to investigator D. Robertson at 951-955-1777.
