Kenneth Hill Obituary, Death – Authorities have identified the man who drowned while duck hunting in the Duck Marshes of the Great Salt Lake as 81-year-old Kenneth Hill. On the night of October 22, Hill was hunting with a friend and a dog when they left their boat to retrieve decoys. During this time, Hill fell into the water, and his friend later found him face down.
The friend managed to bring Hill to a nearby island and attempted CPR before emergency services arrived. Unfortunately, Hill was pronounced dead at the scene, while his companion received medical attention. The dog and the boat were subsequently returned to Hill’s family.
The Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the incident, with reports suggesting that alcohol may have played a role. The investigation remains active as officials seek to clarify the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
