Kandyce Marie Williams Obituary, Death – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into a shooting incident that resulted in the death of a woman early Friday morning. Deputies responded to a call just before 12:30 a.m. at the Brighton Police Department regarding a report of a shooting victim.
Upon arrival, law enforcement found that Birmingham Fire & Rescue personnel were already on the scene. They confirmed that the woman had succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the location due to an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim has been identified as Kandyce Marie Williams, a 28-year-old resident of Trussville. According to the investigation, Williams had been shot at a different location and was subsequently transported to the police station for assistance.
