The incident occurred on the evening of Sept. 25 at approximately 9:32 p.m. Officers from the Austin Police Department responded to a collision involving a pedestrian and two vehicles in the 4600 block of E. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

According to the police report, the pedestrian was crossing the road when they were struck by a white SUV. Following the initial collision, a second vehicle also hit the pedestrian. The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Kameron Hartman, who tragically lost his life at the scene.
