Joseph Gullen Obituary, Death – A fourth victim of Hurricane Helene, who was killed when a tree fell on his home, has been identified. The Aiken County Coroner’s Office confirmed that 70-year-old Joseph Gullen lost his life on Friday when a tree crashed through the roof of his residence on Metts Park Circle during the storm.

The deaths of three other individuals linked to the hurricane are also under investigation. In one incident, a tree fell on the home of 78-year-old Jerry Savage and 74-year-old Marcia Savage on Church Road in Beech Island, causing both to be killed.

Additionally, a 29-year-old man from Dexter, New York, identified as Michael Roukous, was killed when a tree came through the roof of the bed and breakfast he was renting on Casnettie Road in Beech Island.

Autopsies for all four victims are scheduled to be conducted on October 2 as authorities continue to investigate these tragic incidents.
