John Corcoran Obituary, Death – The cyclist who died in a crash on Memorial Drive in Cambridge on Monday evening has been identified as John Corcoran, a 62-year-old resident of Newton. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. near the Boston University boathouse, where Corcoran was struck by a car.
According to a report from the state police on Tuesday, Corcoran was hit by a vehicle driven by a man in his 20s. The driver reportedly lost control of his car before colliding with the cyclist. Corcoran sustained severe injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
