Jeremiah Dustin Jefferson Obituary, Death – The Anderson County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who tragically lost his life in a crash that occurred on Tuesday night. The incident took place around 11:40 p.m. at the intersection of New Prospect Church Road and Singleton Road.
According to information provided by state troopers, the victim was traveling north on New Prospect Church Road when his vehicle veered off the right side of the road. The vehicle then descended an embankment and overturned multiple times.
The coroner’s office reported that 29-year-old Jeremiah Dustin Jefferson was pronounced dead at the scene. In a news release, they stated, “The cause of death is multiple traumatic injuries secondary to blunt force trauma.” Additionally, the coroner classified the manner of death as accidental, noting that both speed and alcohol may have contributed to the crash.
Furthermore, the coroner’s office confirmed that Jefferson was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
