James Edward Reed Obituary, Death – The operator of a tractor-trailer that veered off an interstate overpass and subsequently crashed has been discovered deceased. The incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. on Monday in Canton, specifically on Interstate 55 at the MS 22 Flora exit.
Canton Police Department Chief Otha Brown reported that the vehicle was completely consumed by flames. The driver’s remains were located within the debris. It appears that the truck was transporting kitty litter.
The Madison County coroner has identified the driver as 48-year-old James Edward Reed from Wappapello, Missouri. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
