Jacob Foss Obituary, Death – A Pembroke man died following a two-vehicle collision on Thursday in Norwell, according to Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz and Norwell Police Chief Edward Lee. The accident, reported at around 1:30 p.m., occurred near 111 Pond Street, where a Toyota Tacoma truck and a Kawasaki motorcycle collided. Police and emergency responders arrived to find 28-year-old Jacob Foss, the motorcycle rider, severely injured. Foss was transported to South Shore Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Preliminary findings suggest that the Toyota Tacoma, driven by an unnamed individual who also sustained non-life-threatening injuries, was traveling eastbound on Pond Street. As the truck attempted a left turn into a business, the motorcycle driven by Foss struck the passenger side of the truck. The crash led to a partial closure of Pond Street for several hours as authorities, including Massachusetts State Police and the Norwell Police Department, investigated the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
