Israel Gonzalez Sales Obituary, Death – A man who died in a rollover crash on the West Side of the city has been identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office as 20-year-old Israel Gonzalez Sales. The incident occurred on August 28 around 1:30 a.m. when Sales was ejected from a cargo van while travelling along the westbound lanes of Highway 90 near General McMullen.
Police reported that the van, which was carrying roofing equipment, rolled over into a grassy median, causing Sales to be thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and another passenger sustained minor injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The San Antonio Police Department is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
