Hector Gonzalez Jimenez Obituary, Death – The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a 27-year-old man who was tragically found shot to death in Tacoma over the weekend.
Hector Gonzalez Jimenez, a resident of Eagle Creek, Oregon, succumbed to a gunshot wound to the chest in the vicinity of the 2100 block of South C Street on Sunday. The medical examiner classified his death as a homicide, as stated in a news release.
Tacoma police officers were dispatched to the scene around 11 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Jimenez unresponsive and promptly initiated life-saving efforts, according to a statement from the Tacoma Police Department.
Despite these efforts, Tacoma Fire personnel later declared Jimenez deceased. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the motive behind the incident remains unclear, according to Detective William Muse.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities urge anyone with information regarding the case to contact the Tacoma Police Department or submit a tip to Crime Stoppers.
