Gustavo A. Morales Obituary, Death – Early Wednesday morning, a fatal accident occurred on Interstate 205 in Clark County, resulting in the death of one individual. Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 12:18 a.m. on the northbound side of I-205, near milepost 36.5.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), a gray 2007 Nissan Frontier was traveling northbound when it inexplicably veered off the road to the left. The vehicle then crashed into a tree. The driver, identified as 24-year-old Gustavo A. Morales from Portland, was pronounced dead at the scene. It was reported that Morales was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
The precise cause of the crash is still under investigation. At this point, WSP has not determined whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the incident. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to understand the factors that led to this tragic accident.
