Guadalupe Garcia Obituary, Death – According to a news release from the Tucson Police Department, a serious car accident occurred involving a Ford Escape driven by Shepherd, who was traveling northbound on Columbus. The incident resulted in severe injuries to Garcia, who was taken to Banner University Main Hospital, where she unfortunately succumbed to her injuries on Saturday, November 2.
Shepherd also received medical attention at the hospital but was treated for only minor injuries. The police stated that neither driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the collision.
Previously, on October 30, Shepherd had been arrested on charges of aggravated assault. With Garcia’s recent death, authorities have indicated that the case will be forwarded to the Pima County Attorney’s Office for further legal proceedings.
