Gabriel K. Peak Obituary, Death – A tragic two-vehicle accident in Phelps County on Thursday afternoon claimed the life of 22-year-old Gabriel K. Peak, a resident of Steelville. The crash occurred around 2:15 p.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Peak was driving south on Highway 63, near County Road 6220, when his vehicle veered across the centerline and collided head-on with a northbound diesel truck. The truck was being driven by 42-year-old Rajan N. Taylor, a resident of Potosi.
Sadly, Peak was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, while Taylor did not sustain any injuries. The incident remains under investigation by the authorities.
