Frederick Juan Barnell Obituary, Death – Tucson Police Department (TPD) has reported the death of a man who was struck by a vehicle on October 26. The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. in the 600 block of West 22nd Street, located just west of Interstate 10.
The victim, 43-year-old Frederick Juan Barnell, was attempting to cross 22nd Street from the south to the north when he was hit by a vehicle. Barnell suffered severe injuries and was immediately transported to a hospital, where he was treated for life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene of the accident.
Following the incident, TPD conducted an investigation, and it was later confirmed that Barnell’s injuries were fatal. The authorities were notified on November 5 that Barnell had died as a result of the crash.
According to police, the driver of the vehicle was not impaired at the time of the incident. The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to gather information related to the crash.
