Donald Trim Obituary, Death – Baton Rouge Police have identified Donald Trim, 40, as the victim of an early morning shooting on Highland Road. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday outside the AM Mart located at 2400 Highland Road.
According to police, Trim was standing outside the store with several family members when an unknown assailant began shooting at the group. Trim was the only person who was hit by the gunfire and was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of Sunday afternoon, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and further details have not been released.
