Donald Krajnyak Obituary, Death – A deadly shooting outside a Salisbury nightclub has left one person dead and another critically injured, according to the Salisbury Police Department. The incident took place early Sunday morning around 3 a.m. in a parking lot near East Innes Street.
Officers arrived at the scene and discovered two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims, 47-year-old Donald James Krajnyak, was pronounced dead at the scene. A police spokesperson expressed condolences, saying, “The Salisbury Police Department would like to extend our prayers to the victim’s family.”
The second victim, whose identity has not been released, was transported to the hospital in critical condition, where they continue to receive treatment for life-threatening injuries.
Following the shooting, police were able to quickly apprehend a suspect. Authorities arrested 23-year-old Alexus Burshell Bost at a residence on New Jersey Drive. Bost has been charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder and is currently being held in the Rowan County Detention Center without bond.
