Diony Antoine, JN Irard Vixamar Obituary, Death – Authorities have identified the four individuals killed and the ten others injured in a single-vehicle crash in Wise County on Wednesday, according to a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) news release.
The accident occurred just before 8 a.m. on U.S. 287 in Alvord. The DPS reported that a Chevrolet Express 3500 van was traveling northbound when the driver veered off the road. The driver attempted to correct the vehicle’s path but lost control, causing the van to roll over.
Many passengers were ejected from the van, which is designed to accommodate up to 15 passengers. Investigators noted that only one passenger was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Three men were pronounced dead at the scene: Diony Antoine, 46; JN Irard Vixamar, 42; and Ledene Pierre-Louis, 36. Antoine was the driver of the van. A fourth victim, 28-year-old Geneve Louis, was pronounced dead at Medical City Denton hospital.
The ten injured passengers were transported to hospitals in Fort Worth and Denton. They have been identified as:

The victims, all Florida residents of Haitian descent, were traveling from Florida to New Mexico. The purpose of their trip has not been disclosed, but the DPS confirmed that they were not involved in human trafficking or smuggling activities. The investigation into the crash is ongoing
