Devonte Parissi Obituary, Death – Johnston police recently identified two young individuals who lost their lives in a tragic accident involving a garbage truck. The incident took place early Thursday morning around 4:15 a.m. on Hartford Avenue, where police responded to the scene of a severe two-vehicle crash. According to reports, a Toyota Corolla, carrying three people, was traveling eastbound on Hartford Avenue. The car suddenly swerved into the westbound lane and collided head-on with a MEGA Disposal garbage truck.
Authorities revealed that Devonte Parissi, a 22-year-old from Central Falls, was the driver of the Toyota Corolla and was pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger, Kendell Dublin, also 22 and from Taunton, was seated in the back and also succumbed to injuries from the crash. A third passenger, a 22-year-old man from Attleboro, survived the impact but remains in critical condition as of the latest reports. Fortunately, the garbage truck driver did not sustain any injuries from the collision.
