Danny Garcia Obituary, Death – On Thursday, Salinas police reported a fatal accident involving a motorcycle and a vehicle, marking the second deadly crash in the city within a week. The collision occurred around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of East Laurel Drive and Maryal Drive.
According to authorities, the motorcyclist was traveling at a high speed eastbound on East Laurel Drive when the driver of a Honda attempted to make a left turn onto Maryal Drive, crossing directly in front of the motorcycle. The motorcyclist, identified as 34-year-old Danny Garcia from Salinas, sustained fatal injuries in the crash.
A passenger in the Honda experienced minor injuries but did not require extensive medical attention. Police have indicated that impairment was not a factor in this incident.
