Damon Washington, Richard Harris Obituary, Death – Two men from Pleasantville lost their lives in separate late-night accidents on the Atlantic City Expressway, just days apart. In the first incident, 29-year-old Richard Harris was hit by a vehicle after he stepped out of his disabled car on the eastbound lanes near milepost 21.4. The crash took place around 1:25 a.m. on October 21, according to New Jersey State Police.
A few days later, 19-year-old Damon Washington was killed in a crash at the eastbound Egg Harbor toll plaza around 12:15 a.m. on October 25. Police reported that Washington’s vehicle struck an obstacle, causing it to overturn and eject him from the car.
Both accidents remain under investigation by authorities.
