Corey Chestnut Obituary, Death – The Horry County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of a man who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident near North Myrtle Beach over the weekend.
The incident occurred shortly before 6:50 p.m. on Highway 9, close to Rum Bluff Boulevard.
According to Lance Corporal Brittany Glover from the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash involved a 2017 Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling south. The motorcycle veered off the right side of the highway and collided with a guardrail.
The coroner’s office has identified the deceased as Corey Chestnut, a 50-year-old resident of Loris.
