Conor Ryan Chadwick Obituary, Death – Virginia State Police are conducting an investigation into a fatal accident that took place in Alleghany County on September 28. The incident occurred on Saturday around 9:50 p.m. when a 2018 Dodge Ram was traveling south on Route 42. As the truck approached the crest of a hill, it allegedly collided with a bicyclist who was also heading in the same direction.
The victim, identified as 31-year-old Conor Ryan Chadwick from Clifton Forge, was injured in the crash and was taken to Lewis Gale Alleghany Hospital for medical treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
The driver of the Dodge Ram was reported to be uninjured in the incident.
