Christopher Paul Fuentes Obituary, Death – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal shooting as Christopher Paul Fuentes, 43, who was shot multiple times. His death has been officially ruled a homicide. San Antonio police are currently searching for the man accused of killing Fuentes, who was his girlfriend’s father, early on Saturday morning.
At around 12:15 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Taco Palenque restaurant located in the 18000 block of Blanco Road, where the incident took place. According to an SAPD Sergeant on the scene, Fuentes, his daughter, and her boyfriend—who is the shooter—had started the evening at a local bar.
During their time at the bar, Fuentes and the boyfriend became involved in an argument. The boyfriend left the bar shortly afterward, and Fuentes and his daughter walked over to the Taco Palenque restaurant. Police say the shooter then followed them to the restaurant, where he saw Fuentes and his daughter outside.
Fuentes reportedly approached the shooter’s vehicle, at which point the shooter pulled out a weapon and shot Fuentes multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooter fled the area in his vehicle, and police have launched an ongoing investigation into the incident. As of now, authorities are still working to locate the suspect.
