Christopher King Obituary, Death – On Tuesday, authorities identified a 31-year-old homeless man who was fatally injured in a hit-and-run incident on the Arroyo Seco Parkway near Highland Park. The victim, named Christopher King, was discovered by California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers at around 1:28 a.m. on Saturday. Officers responded to reports of the crash near the Avenue 43 exit, where they found King lying in one of the southbound lanes.
According to CHP Officer Sean Lough, initial investigations revealed that the collision involved a pedestrian and an unidentified vehicle that fled the scene. CHP Officer M. Reyes Lopez confirmed that the pedestrian sustained severe injuries from the incident and was pronounced dead at the location.
