Carson Lee Salmon Obituary, Death – Virginia State Police are currently investigating a tragic single-vehicle accident that resulted in a fatality. The incident took place on Tuesday, October 8, at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Junction School Road, about half a mile from Goggin Road in Bedford County.
According to preliminary reports, a 1999 Toyota Camry was heading south on Junction School Road when it veered off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle then struck an embankment, causing it to overturn and ejecting the driver in the process.
The driver of the Toyota has been identified as 17-year-old Carson Lee Salmon, a resident of Bedford, Virginia. Unfortunately, Mr. Salmon was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing, with authorities looking to determine the circumstances that led to the crash.
